Air/Heat only coming from Defroster 04 GrndChkLardo

No matter where the setting, the fan only blows through the defroster. Any ideas what would cause this?

the hvac systems for jeep cherokees have been vacuum operated scince for ever and a day ago. check ur vacuum lines under the dash and under the hood. make sure all are connected to somthing. there should be 2 small lines comeing out the fire wall by the ac lines under the hood. i had same prob wit my 86 cherokee and those 2 lines were disconected.
