96 Jeep Cherokee Transmission slipping

HELP! I have just had my '96 cherokee country's transmission rebuilt...however it still occasionally slips out of gear when I'm on the highway (70mph)-- rpms jump way up - I don't lose total power, but can't go over 45mph. It also happened once "in town" driving, dropping from 2nd to 1st gear.

This was the problem when I took the car in intially. What's weird, is that it doesn't happen all the time, and if I turn the car off and wait a minute, it's fine again.

No problem lights ever come on, so no codes are "recorded" for the dealer, and of course when I take it back to the dealer for them to drive, it drives fine.

Any ideas?
