I was putting the top down for the first time & got no response from the "roof" switch on the console, so had to lower the roof manually. I'm now left trying to figure out how to lower the rear/side windows; are they connected to the roof wiring and the 50amp fuse behind the passgr seat in the luggage compartment?

I believe you have to get into the rear side panels to check to see if the motors work. The process is difficult and expensive. I have the same problem with an XJS I have owned for years - I just live with it

you have to engage the parking brake first then press top down button, hold button down until the rear windows are completely down. once completely down then disengage the parking brake. put it into gear and enjoy the ride.
