car will fire but as you let go of ignition or try the gas it cuts out? been told it may have something to do with the 12v to 14v or vica versa, all coments, help, will be greatly appreciated

I have a 90 XJS 12 cyl with in excess of 100, 000mi. just get a tune-up. I've actually had pretty good luck with the 12 cyl. but generally with engine malfunction I have to go to a jag shop

1992 3.2 XJS runs ok on the level as soon as you start to go up an incline it loses power

any ideas out there?
