1997 XJ6 3, 2 The front left brake caliper seems to have a mind of its own, brakes stay on ta times causing a bad steering wheel shudder at times, have striped the caliper and cleaned it but .comes back after a short drive. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. My dream car is turning out to be nightmare. Thank you

i have the same problem on my cobra car moves hard left under braking once caliper locks

I have had the same problem on my 1988 XJ40. I switched from the usual antiseize to Royal Purple number 2 on the caliper guide pins. The problem never has returned.
