I have a 1996 jaguar xj6 83000 miles run great just serviced ac changed all fluids rotated tire need to have 4850.00 or trade 2350.00 and your explorer

I have a 98 XJR and the ACS light keeps coming on, then I lose all power in the gas pedal, will not take the gas, just coasts, then it will come back, then go out? Please help this single mom. I think it might be a relay, but don't know which one controls the gas/fuel pump? Thank you! Kim
