95 XJ6 Vanden Plas, hard steering. Gets better as it warms up, but still difficult. Fluids look fine and no apparent steering pump noises. Looking for some previous experience or ideas?

you said that fluids OK, but with $15 and 30 min, all fine how? change the fluids power st, if you want to do? easy, 4 feet of clear plastic tube, suck (be carefull) all old fluid , pour the new in drive several miles(may still the noise)and change again, until it's remove complete, I bet that problem is gone, good luck
