89' XJ6, trunk locked

When I use the key to lock-unlock the car all doors unlock properly but not the lock for the trunk, it is stuck and won't open. I misplaced the trunk key and now I can not get access to the trunk. Any ideas? By the way my repair manual is inside...

Check the fuse for the trunk relay, first. Failing that, pay a locksmith a few bucks to pop the trunk for you (and make a new key in the process - don't forget to have him rekey the glove box if he changes the pins around). Once you have it open, check the wiring to the solenoid and check the relay.
