Isuzu-Trooper II -
Transmission computer?

My Dad has an 1988 Isuzu Trooper 2 automatic. There seems to be some trouble with the transmission computer because it won't shift except manualy and the overdrive doesn't shut off. My Dad is a mechanic and he thinks it might be a computer problem, but he doesn't know for sure. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and knew where to get the proper part. Thanks in advance for any help.
