Geo-Metro - p1250 fault code

What is A P1250 fault code. Got one at the Wa state vehicle inspection station.

I have the same fault it says Manufactures Control Air Fuel I think it has something to do with the fuel cap since I think the original is vented and mine is "vacuume only" I reset the code and drive around for hours no code but as soon as I turn off the car and restart it the code is back I am waiting for a cap from GM will post if that fixes it.

Got the cap but have not had time to see if it worked but the gm cap is similar in design so my hopes are not high I also replaced the fuel filter as it appeared to be the original one.

P1250 For GM Early fuel evaporation system, For others Fuel level too low, or fuel pressure control solenoid,

hi, i have a bmw e38 2.8 1996 model. i have had the faults checked and the only code that does not clear is code 38 pre-throttle valve control. is this a major problem and what does this mean. can you help me and explain. i also have the triangle come on in the dash what is this also. thanks taz

Today, I took my car in for a smoog check, it failed with a obd fualt code:P1250 Manfacturer specific code.I expected it would failed because the check engine stays on. I don't know what the OBD fault code represent. Can someone tell me what that code mean? I drive a 1998 BMW 528i. Thanks. Al
