I have a 97 geo metro with a 1.0 3 cyl. engine. I installed a header with a new catalytic converter and new 2" pipe and a performance muffler. I also installed 2 new oxygen sensors in thier appropriate place. My gas milage has gone down dramatically. The gas mixture seems to rich? Can I work on the computer to change the fuel richness? Any ideas would be appreciated...

I am having the same problem, plus my service engine light stays on. I'm sorry I don't have an answer to our mileage problem, but could you please take the time to tell me the wire color matchups from the oxygen sensors to the wiring harness. I used Bosch universals and need to know if I have them connected to the proper color wires from the harness. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ya I know whats wrong with your car. Its You!!!! Why in the hell are you putting performance parts on a Geo. I own a Geo Prizm myself and have beaten it with a tennis racket just for fun. The car has one purpose, to get you around. Not fast nor in style.....
