I have a 93 Metro automatic with no engine and a 90 Metro 5-speed with a good engine. They are both 4 door hatch-backs. Will the engine from the 5-speed Metro fit into the Metro with the automatic?

yes there is a spacer on back of crank shaft on the 5 speed take it off and discard it to mate to automatic trans look closly the spacer looks like part of the cank shaft

I have a 93 Geo Metro 5 speed manual. When I down shift from second gear to first gear I have to practically stop the car to shift to first gear. Car also jumps while driving slow..
