I have a 97 Metro LSI that will start up and run for about 30 seconds on first start in the mornings and then shuts off. On re-starts, the run time goes down to about 10 to 5 seconds before it shuts off. Shows no codes. It will always start, but won't stay running? Any ideas? Thank you.

is it fuel injected or carb setup? if its a carb, try checking for vacuum leaks, and if fuel injected, see if you have adequate fuel pressure

remember: you need three things to keep an engine running :

Fuel, Fire, Air.

sounds like you're getting a spark, and are getting air, but fuel might be the issue
