1996 metro my car has a check engine light that sayes PO505 code, and when im driving the car it like im turning the key off. it just starts missing, but only when i give it i quarter of gas and no more then hafe. any one that can give me some help, so i can fix. been to the chev garage thay had it for a day and dint fix it. thank you for your help

Alright i have a 1996 geo metro 2 door hatchback, it's my baby! i can drive it all i want and i can even be a little aggressive with it and still it gets 39 miles to the gallon:) very happy about it. i plan on having it for a long time and so i've put a freaking amazing sound system in it, and now its summer and it's HOTT!!! i just tinted my windows and it's helped a lot, but i still need air conditioning, but i cant find any kits or anything on the web and ya, im just wondering if any one has any ideas about something that'll help, thanx, jordan

jordan,

i talked to a mechanic about putting in an A/c in my 96 geo metro hatchback he said those that come with a/c have a totally different set-up then those that are sold without one. To put an ac system in your GEO would mean a heck of alot of work, even for a mechanic. and would cost you 700-1200 bucks even if you removed an old one from a junk yard.
