1995 SuperCoupe V6. Growelling noise at idle? Disappers under acceleration. Deep/dull tone but does not have a "metalic" (metal to metal) sound to it. Has been gradually getting worse over the last year(approx. 3500 miles).

just remove charger belt and no difference sound still there? I guess it is either engine or tranny issue? any ideas folks?
