Ford-Taurus - 95 Taurus wagon Indicator not working

The indicator started to fail completely, but erratically (both left and right). It would not blink inside, or make the usual clicking sound. Some of the time it was fine, other times didn't work (during same drive). Sometimes blinked only slowly thten stopped. Replaced indicator switch (it was working at the garage, so they didn't know exactly what was wrong). Worked fine for 1 week. Now same problem. I do not know if the exterior lights do not work at the time the indicator inside does not work. What else could it be? It feels like there is some mechanical obstruction to the indicator arm at times, esp. when putting it on right before turning.

First check your multi function switch which is inside the steering column. It runs turn signals, windshield wipers, brightens and dims headlights. Try that.Second if you did not have mechanical obstruction, check all your lights (signal, brake, taillights) to see if any need to be replaced. Third there is a flasher located in fuse box. These are known to go out quite often. Hope this helps.

I have a Ford Tarsus 2007. I put gas in the car yesterday and tried to reset the "Trip Mileage" indicator and I got it "off" English and now can't get it back to read English. Please give me insts. on how to reset the indicator to English. Thank you.
