Ford-Ranger - 1991 Ford Ranger Turn signals quit working

I'm working on my sister's Ranger truck, 1991, 2.3L 5spd and the turn signals went out. They worked fine but maybe the switch got wet? I removed a dead radio from her truck too and there were a lot of wires not used on two blocks so I removed both. Would that have anything to do with it? The wiper/washer control still works on the same switch. Thanks for any help!!!

I have a 93 F150 ford. Yesterday my turn signals stop working, butg my flashers work and I changed out every fuse and bulb that is related to the turn signal and still they are not worrking. I am looking for any type of suggestions before I send my turck to the dealer and we all know wht king of price that will be. John

My '91 Ranger 2.3L 5 spd has the same problem: no turn signals, but the wipers and hazards work. I replaced the fuse and flasher with no change. I have the steering column apart to replace the switch (all in one) and it's $150 or more since it's a dealer part. I haven't been able to find it online cheaper yet, but will look at Craigslist for someone parting a truck out. Haven't looked, but would the part number be on the switch or do I get that from the dealer?I guess a junkyard would be a good place to look too. One thing to check is the connector. Make sure it's not burned and you have voltage to it. Michael

This happened to me, 93 ford ranger, no turn signals. hazard Flashers work, fuse good, relay good. MY dad click the hazard flash button for about a half hour, working the connectors, was just about to give up, then the turn signals started to work again!!! when all else falls move that switch for hazards to work the connectors for while, a long while. hope it works for you.

I messed with the hazzard button and lo and behold! my signals work again; at least for now.
