I have a 2006 Ford Fusion with power door locks.The driver side door will not open from the inside door latch. I would like to know what is wrong and how to fix? How do you remove door panel? Thank you in advance, James

there are two screws on the door pad its self one on top right the other on mid bottom removie those then remove the one behind the door latch it is smooth you will need a flat screw driver to remove the cover then remove the screw inside the arm pad. then pull cover off starting at top it will be hard at first once the first few comes off its easy sounds like the cable latch connected to the door latch is stuck.

warning light on dash shows n/s rear door open when it is not, interior lights come on as well. How do I cure this? Ford Fusion 1.6 TDCi 2006.

the cable has snapped, just had to do one on daughters car
