Hi, I have a 2006 for focus estate sport 2ltr. I have had it for 2 years and the car is idea for my use. I am having a serious problem when slowing down at junctions, roundabouts etc. When slowing down I loose all acceleration although the car is still running. Once I switch engine off then on again the problem fixes itself until I slow down again. The ford garage has re-installed the diagnostics but that didn't work. Next they installed a new battery, but I can't see how this will resolve the problem. I am picking the car up from the garage tomorrow, who again wants to charge me for this problem. Has anyone had this problem before? Can anyone help?

I have a 2001 ford focus. the car had a miss for 2 to 3 weeks.

the more fuel applied or the steeper the hill, the miss got worse. Changed plugs and plug wires (no help)............

at slow speed such as shopping center car ran well.

last week I was driving through a shopping center, stopped at a.t.m. car started as if it was hitting on 2 cylinders.

it would die but start again.. Finally at approx. 5-6 mph.

got on 4 lane road could only get up to a speed of 30 to 35 m.p.h. used 1/2 tank gas in about 5 miles. miss was wery bad

from a.t.m. to home.
