Ford Focus 2001 Manual Shift Linkage

I'm looking for information about fixing the shift linkage on a 2001 Ford Focus with a manual transaxle. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Diagrams and directions would both be appreciated.

No matter what gear I put my 2001 Ford Focus in. It will not move. Its a automatic. Someone told me that it may be the linkage and someone said that it may be the transmission. The car will crank fine. It will go into the gears but it will roll no matter what gear its in. I was driving the car and I was sitting at a red light and all of a sudden the car just would not move.Whenever I pushed the gas, it just made the vroom sound. Does anyone know what it could be.
