My A/C compressor sometimes shuts off by itself when it is really hot outside and when the truck is sitting still (like in stop and go traffic). When is shuts off the compressor starts cycling off and on and will keep doing this until i can maintain a constant speed for a while. It only does this when the truck is initionally started on a very hot day and is immediately in slow moving bumper to bumper traffic (like leaving work) . Once the air in the ducts vents get below 50 degrees the A/C will work fine as long as engine is not shutoff for a extended period of time. I have aready replace the high pressure side shutoff switch.
