had a rear differential leak, purchased new cover and new fluid. replaced old cover and added appropriate amount of new fluid with the friction additive. when i drained it, i was about a quart low. the truck was running fine before i did the repair. now i run the truck and it has a pretty bad vibration. the truck has 220000 miles but ran really well before i changed the cover and fluid. i used the fluid that ford recommends. the truck did sit for a month before i ran it but i don't think that was the problem
