strange problem with 99 superduty 7.3 diesel. tail lights not working, brake lights and signal lights work. when i turn off key a buzzing noise starts in dash, stops when i turn hazards or signal on, starts again when hazards/signal off. stops when i turn key on. what the hell is this buzzer? is it related to tail lights (i checked fuses)?

horn don't work and the compass / gas milage read out on the roof don't read don't know where to look can find any thing in the book about the compass any info will help thanks Thomas

2006 ford f250 6.0 diesel , question:their are 2 batteries witch are witch? i want to put a 3 amp charger on the one that powers the power plug , in the truck ..

I have a 2006 f250 6.0 diesel, The truck fails to start it is like the starter is dropping out under a load the batteries read 12 volts and drop to 10.9 when starting does anyone have an idea what to look for with this problem.

I have a 2002 f250 diesel that will die after about 4 to 5 minutes running. When I jump it, it will run at 12 volts for a minute and the gradually go down until it drop below 9 volts and finally dies. I have new alternator and batteries. What else might cause this problem?

I have a 2005 F250 and the radio, power windows and map lights all quit working at the same time. The fuses and relays are all good. Any one else had this problem?

my horn went off in the middle of the night on my F 250 C/C truck. as this is not tied into any security system, what would have caused this.As I found out later the horn actually burnt out. When you push the horn button you can hear the solenoid clicking in the dash.Is the horn actually burnt out?

I purchased a 2005 F-250 super duty 6.0 diesel with 68000 km. Great truck but twice now it won't start. This happens when the engine is warm and I try to start it and it's like the battery is dead, no clicking no starter trying to kick in nothing. When I turn the key every function is OK (glow plug etc.)the lights dim like a dead battery. I leave it over night and it starts perfect and won't happen again for weeks.

Had the battery's checked, cables to the starter checked. Can't find anything obvious.

Any body out there with similar problems

I have 2005 SuperDuty F250. Occassionaly first thing in the morning, the radio and power windows are inoperable. Does not happen all the time. Typically I drive a few blocks and they start working. Dealer traded out relays with no remedy.

Any ideas?

2005 ford 6.0

lost gas peddel responce , the tac was at idle , battery light came on then motor died , wont restart and the battery light is still on

2002 F 250

door ajar light stay on all the time, power door locks will not work from doors or from key chain, and the radio has constant power even when the key is off and not in the ignition. Any ideas?

also have lock problem.doors not unlocking by key fob or by lock buttons and power stays on when key is removed.door ajar light stays on.2002 ford f 350 4-door.

I have an 2005 F250HD diesel. It would not start and I replaced one of the batteries and fine, it started ok. Then a couple of days later it was hard to start and on the way home the radio went out, the abs light came on, then all gauges including the tach and speedometer needles went left. It died as i pulled onto my street and would not start again. Everyone said replace the altenator and I did. I turn the key and all the dash lights that are suspose to come on do but then they cut off with a little whimper at the end with the gauge needles slightly fluctuating before it dies completely. Any clue?
