Does the dash need to come out?

Which hose on the firewall should be used to insert a cut of valve to temp. aleviate the problem of radiator fluid in passanger compartment?

How difficult is a heater core on a 99 f 250 replacement? Can the average plumber joe mechanic do it with basic handtools?

I have heat for about 10 seconds then cold air. I checked fill tank and there is a green goo or something like snot in it. I have put in a radiator flush but no luck. I changed the thermostat but no luck. Any ideas? Need help

Hi Gerry,

I am in the process of trying to change my heater core in my 2003 F250 and have the dash almost out but cannot get that last bit. Did you achieve this feat and if so I would like to Know how .
