Another approach is to begin to enter all possible codes. This may seem absurd, but it is very easy, and can be completed in less than 20 minutes. That's less time than any of the other methods would require. The reason that it is so fast depends on you having the FMC remote as is attached to the keys, and benefits from the way that the car searches for the proper code, and also benefits from the fact that there are less than 1300 possible sequences. I wrote a program that merges the codes into 40 lines of 35 numbers per line. One enters a line, hits the door open button, hits the door close button, and then enter the next line. Sooner or later the door locks will pop. the last 5 digits entered before the pop are the code for the vehicle.

You can go to ford if all else fails and they will plug it into the computer and give you the code. It is stored in the software on the vehicles computer. Once you have the master code, you can then change the code to your own personal code..The directions to do so are in the owners manual

I found the code on my 2003 F-150 up under the dash. There is a sticker on a grey box. That is the code that you need to open the door. You can then use that code to program your own 5 digit code that you will remember.

Cannot find the code under the steering column. Any other places you can think of to find it?

I just called a ford dealer in Vancouver (BC), they informed me that ford stopped printing the codes anywhere in the vehicle (mine is a 2003 supercrew lariat) and I have to bring the vehicle in. For $33 they will hook it up to the computer and give me the code. A-Holes!!!Guess what, this forum saved me $33, the code is printed on the gray keyless entry module located under the dash, to the left (drivers side) of the steering column. THANK YOU!!!

Sounds like a lot of helpful folks here. Has anyone ever tracked down the keyless entry module for a 2008 Supercrew?

Yesterday I went to a Ford dealer in Maple Ridge BC and asked for help to find my 2003 F150 door code. The jerk in the service department said that for $40.00 he could look it up for me. I said no thanks. Thanks to this forum I saved $40.00.

is it possible to get to the computer box to read the code on a 04-06 without taking the dash apart? I didn't see it climbing under the dash...

05 F150 XLT supercab, Just found mine yesterday by removing the back seat and the code was on the control box right where they said it would be. The whole process took every bit of 15 minutes. Warning: If you have big hands, this is not the job for you! I got my nephew to help me out.

Thanks. Have a 2003 Lariat and found the code under the dash on the keyless entry module to the left of the steering column.
