blower fan switchmy blower fan switch on dash stopped working on all settings. (2004 Ford F150).
#102/06/09 20:28DWORLD 63 | Unhook the positive cable on your battery and let the computer reset , thats should get it going, sometimes the flutter switch gets stuck, so to get heat just let the defroster pump once it resets |

The blower fan on my 2001 F 150 only works on 1, 3 and 4. Any reason the #2 position won't work? Is it switch or motor related?

i have a 1998 f150 and the heater wont turn off even when it is off
You need to replace the Fan Motor Resistor assembly under the dash. Cheaper to by direct from the dealer, than aftermarket. 2006 F150 Ford part number is 3f2Z-18591-AA this tells me it fits from 2003 and up
Just finished changing blow motor resistor on 2006 F150, drop down the glove box by pushing in on pass side to release stop block, the resistor is right behind it, release plug by pushing up on the plug tab, take out the 2 8mm bolts remove and install, takes about 10 minutes max
I have a 1997 F-150 and the heater fan won't turn off, even when you turn the key off.

my 1997 ford truck a/c blower stopped. I check and replaced the fuses. I was driving down the road with the a/c on and the blower just stopped with no warning. Is this an easy fix or a costly one?
2001 ford f-150 lost first three speeds then two days later lost high replaced fan motor resister still nothing. any other suggestions
i have a 2003 ford f150. my air works fine untill i hit the accelerator and the air stops comeing out of the air vents and sounds like its in the vents is that the blower resistor switch going out or what please email me and let me know thanks.
I have a 2001, f150 2dr with a v6. When the a/c is going and there is no load on the engine it blows from the correct vents. When I get on the gas and get the RPM's up, the air switches from vent to defrost. I assume it is a vacuum problem but not sure where to start.
#1607/07/10 16:55chandler aldrich | I have a 2004 f150 first 3 settings do not work only hi.called the parts dept at local ford dealership they said replace fan motor resistor 26.00 is this going to fix it or am i on a wild goose chase look forword to hearing what the fix is. |
#1707/18/10 13:02Scott & Kathy | I have a 2001 f150. Selector switch only blows out of defroster, will not blow out of panel, would like to cool cab instead of front windshield. Please help! |

I have 97 F 150 and my blower fan works on 4 not on 123. I tried switch and did not work
I have a 97 F150 and the A/C works off and on. It'll run a/c for 20 minutes and then cut out and nothing comes out of the vents...They guy I just bought it from said he just replaced the "switch"...what should I check then??
2003 Ford Expedition - suddenly the heater blower fan switch stopped working on 1, 2, and 3 speeds, it only works on the 4 (high speed). Looked at replacing the switch, but can not figure how to get to it. Then read on this site about possible fan motor resistor, which should I try to fix first and how do you get to the resistor?
#1, #2, and now #3 settings do not blow air. #4 does work. It's been a progressive problem beginning 2 years back. What part needs replacing? Thank-you
You all should of got a dodge. My heat works fine
When I start the 1997 f150, the ac works and blows cold air, then less than 3 minutes, it starts blowing warm air and only gets hotter. If I turn the control to vent, the air is a little less hot, but still feels like an oven at 400 degrees. The fan speed settings work, the freon is full. It is as if the heater takes over the AC. Can not ever put on vent to get air circulated as the longer I drive, the hotter the air coming out becomes. - any solutions? - Thank you
