| What happens when you press the keypad keys from right to left in order? My driver door unlocks. I'm still using the factory unlock code, and it also works. I press the buttons from right to left pressing 9-0, 7-8, 5-6, 3-4, 1-2 to keep all the buttons showing the same amount of wear. I was very shocked by the code unlocking the door. Would anyone happen to know if I change the code to my own if it would eliminate this problem or what other steps may be taken to correct this? |
| Open the back hatch, pull the jack cover, get a flashlight and possibly a small mirror. The keyless entry code is located on the top of a white computer module attached to the inside of the quarter panel. Its usually a 5 digit code. |

2203/11/11 14:17justme1986 | I bought a 2006 used F-250. If you open the cubby hole on the dash (oversized ash tray) and then push in the sides it will open further. Push the insulation out of the way and there is a sticker with the key code. It is up and near the fire wall. The numbers are in large print. |

2403/11/11 14:21justme1986 | to halda06 Someone probably put that in as a custom code. You can erase it by Entering the factory code press the 1-2 button then press and hold the 1-2 button for a few seconds It should then go back to the factory code. |
