I own a 1976 F-100 2WD, Three speed with the 300 straight 6. I have manual steering and NEED a rag joint (steering coupling, Flexible Coupling)

The splines tore out of mine and I ordered one on-line. When it came it was the wrong one. I then found one at a parts store in town but again, didn't Fit.

I went to the local Ford dealer and had the parts guy look up my part number. He said it was a one year specific, manual steering only part.

Here is the number he wrote down for me. He said it was for the part I need as well as the connecting piece (which I don't need): D6T (Z) 3524E

I put the Z in parenthesis because he drew a vertical line on top and bottom of his Z and I didn't Know if it was just how he writes the letter Z or if it was suposed to be some kind of dash.
