driver door lock

My driver door lock des not unlock with remote. It works fine manually or if I use cab door handle. Any ideas on how to repair? How do I tear down the door to make repair?thanks in advance for the help, John

also...Using the key to unlock doesn't work. It takes two or three trys, combination of turning key and lifting handle to eventually unlock the vehicle.John

Mine is doing that as well. lubed the heck out of it and is working with the key again but no power. I'm thinking that the locking mechanism catching eventually fried the power actuator, but not sure. any ideas on how to be sure?

rear pass.door is frozwen closed, due to corrosiin i think.can not open door to remove panel. anyone had this prob? great ride otherwise, 136000K.
