I have a 93' Explorer, My code reader tells me I have a Mass air flow sensor fault. I ran a test on it per my repair manual with a digital multi meter, It say's to verify that you at least have 10.5 volts between terminals a & b on the sensor connector. This tells you that you have proper input to the sensor. I tested mine and I dont have that much voltage. The manual dos'nt tell you why you may not have the voltage or where to look for the problem. Does anyone know why the voltage would'nt be right or where to start looking for the problem at? THANKS

I own a 2005 ford taurus. If I change out the mass air sensor, for a sensor with better air flow will it give me better gas mileage?

i have a 2005 ford explorer and my wife was driving it one day and it just shut off going down the road. She waited a couple minutes, started back up and has been running fine ever since. Do I need to clean the mass air flow sensor or is it another problem?
