Ford-Explorer - Shortage in fuse box for a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport

All of a sudden my tail lights and instrument panel lights (entire dashboard) doesn't light up when vehicle light switch is turned on. I replace fuse in inside fuse box (it is the #5 location) and requires a 15a fuse. I replaced the fuse (5 times), it keeps blowing after a 2-3 minutes. What are my options of trouble shooting before taking it in to a over priced mechanic? Could it be a bad relay? I can actually hear it pop as the fuse blows. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the same problem and are getting a replacement switch from NAPA auto parts for about $25 and hopefully this will work because we were told it was a short in switch that caused the lights in the back to go off. Wish us luck and we will kep you posted.

My back drivers signal does not work when I use my telescopic steering, it works in the front and it will work when the steering column is in the up position, can anyone tell me how I can fix this problem. This truck has a mine of its own.
