Explorer Horn relay - Ford-Explorer
Explorer Horn relayI need to know the fuse or relay number for the horn circuit on a 1999 Explorer or Mountaineer. I can't find my owner's manual. The horn worked yesterday. Also the location of the fuse or relay. A wiring diagram would be super! Thanks, Jerry M.

|You can visit the link that appears after this text for a set of relays for all parts. Usually, the Stock Keeping Unit of each item can be found through their drop down options for car make-model-year and then the part that you're looking for.|
|In the relay box there are some small fuses. |
The fuse that blows when the horn draws too much current is the 15A (blue) or 20A (yellow) in position S in the relay box.
The diagrams of the layout in some models is incorrect in the owners manual and there isn't one in the Haynes manual either.
You can probably find a fuse box diagram online but the fuse in S position is incorrectly labeled as 4-wheel drive as far as I've disccovered. (I known because it blew on my 1998 model and I checked the relay in HH position and found the relay ok).
