95 Explorer stuck in 4wd

I have a 1995 explorer that is stuck in 4 wheel low I need to know what and how to trouble shoot the problem, control switch, Transfer case motor or what any help would be appreciated

Make sure you put the transmision in neutral, then turn the switch back to 2WD it might take a couple of seconds but it should change back. Hope this helps.

if you put your vehicle back in 2 wheel drive then go in reverse

about 50 ft. that should disengauge the 4 wheel drive.
