I live in Canada and I own a 1997 Ford Explorer, which I will

be getting a manual soon, as I never recieved one when I

purchased the vehicle. In Canada they are relatively easy to

aquire. When I do get one I could possibly copy it or get you

one also. let me know if you recieved

I also own a 97 Ford Explorer (Australia)Bought it to relieve a mid-life crisis. Totally a politically incorrect vehicle but still a lot of fun!

William's site http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/ does work Jim. You may need to navigate around it a bit to get want you want. I just downloaded the full owners manual.

There you cna buy a brand new owners manual. If you dont want to pay you should attempt maybe going to your dealer and asking for a spare.

I am looking for a ford aspire owners manual but as it probably hasn't changed much in the 94-97, I'd be happy with any of those years--Im pretty broke so Im looking for a free download or ?

My car was just totaled but I was able to clean it out and have a manual if any one needs one. I quess I won't need mine anymore.

I own a 1997 ford explorer too and oh my gosh...it eats petrol!!!

anyways, would really really appreciate it if I could get a copy of the manual too as I didn't get one when I purchased the car. I've been trying to download it but it doesn't seem to get through.

My 1998 explorer keeps draining the battery after sitting for a day. I've replaced battery, belts, and alternator. Still happening , anyone have this issue? a fuse schematic or hints would be helpful....Thanks

Just go to EBay and buy the service CD on disk. Costs about $2 plus freight and offers full FORD Service info for your year, way better than Chilton's, Haynes etc. I am a mechanic and use these disks for all cars, so much easier and cheaper than buying a library of repair books. If you need teh basic owners guide, which offer no info at all, they are also available on EBay, cheap.

If anyone can help me itould be appreciated. I have a Ford explorer 1997 Control-Trac. My air bag light blinks a code 32. The Ford dealer was of no help. They thought I was crazy. Also the Kayless remote doesn't unlock the front doors. HELP1 thankyou doylegooch@yahoo.com
