On an expedition 2002 thry 2007 the master code is located on the drivers side under dash look on the extreme left with head by brake pedal a cream colored anti-theft module has the code printed on it 5 digit code. To change the code to your own personal code you have to put in the master code then hit #1 and put in your own 5 digit code thats it very simply

Oh My... I almost wet myself it was so simple.. Thank you greatly for saving me 45 dollars(plus tax, plus gas to get there), here at the local ford garage in Appleton WI. Fellers and Ladies... I own a 2001 Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition...( and yes I am happy I bought it. ) and yes it was so simple... I found my "cream colored" computer control module on the driver side up and under the dash near my "left foot". The basic dimensions of said module were about 1 1/4 inches deep by about 3 1/2 inches square (or close, might have been a rectangle) The five digit number which was the most "Bold" and biggest font on the module was the number needed for me...( IE: it was also in the middle of all the writing.) Note. i removed nothing... just looked in the dark with a flash light ... it is the easiest in the very dark, not daylight to see into those kinds of corners/ crannies etc. best to you... PS my door number is 45981... LOL, come find my truck... Thanks again for all the notes. Appreciative David !!! :) yer da besht !!! (acting yooper accent) .

My 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer, which I bought used, did not come with the master code for the keypad. I followed the directions that Marie gave in her above post and found the 5 digit code easily. And it works! So you're in luck if you have a 1999 Ford Expedition - it's as easy as pie to find the code. Dave

I am trying to find out where the fuse is located for the keyless pad on my 04 explorer. I have no power, the numbers do not light up. I have my owners manuel an it doesn't indicate which one it is in the fuse box panel.

Found it!!! Keyless code was right under the driver's side, above the foot pedals. Mine is a 2001 Expedition, the numbers were 5 black numbers printed on a little yellow box. Thanks!!!

We purchased a 2004 Ford F350 that was a repossessed vehicle. It has a keypad so we took it to a dealer to get the code but found out it was not a factory done pad. I guess the previous owner had it installed after market. Does anyone know how to get a code for after market keyless keypads?

Thanks for the tips - we just bought an 03 expedition eddie - our dealership said wed be paying 85.00 to find this code. Found it behind the glove box, open it, take everything out, theres two stoppers on the outside edges - push them in to allow glove box to come out and hang.... Use flashlight look far back to your right, theres a black box with big white sticker and black writing located on the wall, writing is upside down....... look for the Boldest 5 numbers.....to change enter code then 1 then (your code).... Good luck... and thanks again :)

Trying to figure out if you can change the code for the keyless entry at the same time wiping the original code out? Ford told me "no", the original will still work also, so what's the use? They told me the only way is to install a new code box for over $400. Is there any way to accoplish this? several people have this code and I need to change it.
