As of last night the Battery light came on and the battery is losing charge as I drive. A few weeks ago my car starting acting up. I went to start the car and the tach shot up and dropped like a rock as the car stalled. This happened during the day several times causing me drive the car with a foot on the brake and the other on the gas until I got moving. Once moving the car ran well as long as I did not come to a stop at which time it would stall. The days that i had the problem with starting were hot and the car (black) was parked in the sun (not sure if an electrical component is on its way out).

I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR HOPING TO IT'LL BE SOMETHING ELSE BUT I THINK YOU AND ME HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. IT COULD BE THE ALTERNATOR NOT WORKING PROPERTY AND MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN THE ALTERNATOR IS NOT WORKING IS VERY COMMON THAT THE BATTERY DOESNT GET CHARGED, BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR IS THE ONE INCHARGE OF RECHARGIND THE BATTERY.
