2001 Excursion Keyless Entry Code

We just purchased a used 2001 Excursion. Does anyone know where to locate the Keyless Entry Code on this vehicle?

Not sure if you already figured out; but thought I'd post a reply since I recently also encountered same problem on used '02 we just bought. You will need a telescopic mirror and flashlight to be able to accomplish this. The 5 digit code is printed on a Electronic Control Module (ECM)(6" square black box) up in the dash; just about directly behind where the radio is in dash. Work yourself under dash in front of drivers seat, point flash light up and thread mirror until you find ECM box. On top of this box in large print is the code for your vehicle. Good Luck! I was so excited when I learned of this and accomplished on my own.

I found mine on the ecu behind the radio, 5 digits code is on the side by the bar code. Use a telescoping mirror and flash light.
