Ford-Escort - High RPM rattle.

I recently got a '98 Ford Escort SE. It drives nice, good handling and acceleration. One thing that worries me is that as I reach higher RPMs (usually around 4500, sometimes 5000) I get a high-pitched rattling sound from the front. Any ideas?

Go to a garage and have that fixed. It could be a really simple problem that seems to be aggravated with fast flow of wind. Better still, you could check that yourself and if you cannot handle it, have it checked by the dealers.Really nice car, I must admit. A bit into its history, it was the first front-wheel-drive car that was built in North America, replacing the dated Ford Pinto subcompact car.

I am fascinated with car models, and why men love cars so badly. I myself would want only one car that fits my driving and transportation needs, nothing more and nothing less..And i am sad to say that i have no idea on what this forum is talking about. I think the best way to deal with this is through car dealers that knows the what's and how's on cars.
