I have lost my owners manual to a 2005 ford escape. Can someone tell me which fuse # is for the cigarette lighter/power plug? and is in the inside fuse box? Thank you

The cig lighter fuse is located in fuse box passanger side. There are two 20 amp fuses that are bright yellow and its the second one in. You can tell its bad by the burned/fried "arc" within the fuse. hope this helps.

I have changed a new battery in my Ford Escape 2006. Before changing battery, I tried to boost my old battery but jumper cables caught fire and I immediately took off cables. Now, while new battery is there, car starts, head lights, power windows, wipers etc evey thing works properly but NO ELECTRONIC DISPLAY of Temperature, speed or any other digital display. Even Car tape also is not working. Can anybody tell, is this the Fuse problem or Computer is not working? Abeer

wow this worked great! it was the bright yellow 20amp fuse for my 05 ford escape cigarette lighter

I have a 2005 Ford Escape I was driving down the street and all of a sudden the car lights came on and the car shut down. I had the battery and the starter checked. The mechanic does not know what is wrong. PLEASE ADVISE.
