I have a 1964 econoline truck that has problems with the linkage. It has trouble when I shift from first into second. If I play with it enough I can get the column to drop down so I can put it in second. It's a real hassle to drive like this. Sometimes it feels like it drops but in reality it doesn't and I end up putting it in reverse. The grind noise makes me sick. Sombody told me they think I need a mass sleeve or cylinder at least thats what I think he called it. Is there anybody out there that can help me? Where can I get parts? Thanx Karl
