I have a 1994 F-350 RV that will start but will not stay idle.
it will shutdown within 2 minutes.
you can hear the fuel pump on and off and a clicking noise on the front coming on
the needle on the Battery oscillate when the pump is running.
Any idea what could be wrong.
we changed the idle air control valve. Nothing is changed.

Have a 1985 Honey rv, E350 engine, looks like a electric fuel pump, 2 fuel tanks, problem is:will run by primer the carbuator and then it shuts off. where are the FUEL Pumps for me to replace. Are they in the tanks? and would like to have a manuel on this engine. please help.
The electric fuel pumps are in the tanks, these csars are also equipped with a "fuel pump shut off switch"! The fuel pressure has to be between 6-8 psi. I do have a truck shop manual from Ford which doesn't mentioning anything about the e-pumps!Allthough the I have another one with wiring diagrams, think it's an original one! I don't see the advantage of all this electrical rubbish, the more electrical the more trouble! I'm thinking of increase the tanks, connect them together, so the gas from the rear will float into the front one by itself and put on an external e-pump! If some one want the wiring diagram let me know I'll send it to you, best regards Rob
I have a 1991 winnie RV do you know where the electrical fuel pump is located at on it?
i had this motor home for about 6 months never gave me a problem it turns on but doesent want to stay on fule pumps are brand new fule filters are no it hard to find the fule relay if it has on i wanted to see if anyone knows how to get this dahm thing running
I new to this but the E 350 rv conversions usually have two in-tank fuel pumps. There is a start up bypass that supplies power to the fuel pumps when in the start position and once you release the ignition switch the pumps get there power from two relays, one is controlled by an oil pressure switch on the back of the block and the other is controlled by an inertia switch. If it starts and runs for 30 seconds to a minute you could have a bad oil pressure switch. That would cause the vehicle to quit after the ignition switch is realeased. @ Rob could you send me a picture of the wiring diagram? firstname.lastname@example.org
