Dodge-Stratus -
Drivers side door alarm goes off.

I have a 2000 stratus that if I unlock the drivers door with the key it sets off the security system, lights flashing horn honking etc. If I unlock the passenger side first it unlocks all the doors & works fine ideas?

I just purchased one of these and the alarm started going off.

The answer was the door switch. It was not being pushed in properly. Door needed adjusting in (torx to move U bolt), slight dent in door where door contacted switch.

Solutions:

Adjust door, put pad on door where it contacts switch.
