I need some input. My Dodge Intrepid 2.7 ltr engine has a continous oil light problem. Dodge dealer says I need a new engine that the berrings are bad. All sensors have been changed the oil pressure is holding steady at 30 pounds. The engine is quiet so quiet it don't even sound like it is running. My maintaince is always on schedule. It has 90,000 miles and runs like brand new. The oil light however likes to go on when the engine is hot and at an idle. However when I start to go the light goes out. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would love to know if you got an answer on this. I have a 2004 intrepid with the exact same problem. Did you ever find out what was needed to fix it?
