im having problems with my guages not working sometimes

My 97 had the same issue, it was the alternator sending voltage spikes through the computer and electrical system. The alternator checked out good when it was tested at the auto parts store, but when I installed the new one, the problem vanished. I would lose all gauge function, and the milage and trans selector display would vanish. They would come back on after a while, but usually, a warning light(abs, oil pressure) would also light up.

I own a 2004 Grand Caravan, and it has lost all guages and the lower brake lights, the brake light on the rear window works, I cant find a bad fuse or relay or one labeled guage or instrument pannel??
