My driver side window is stuck down. Switch Okay, Motor works. I need access to the window, motor etc. Anyone have the right way to do this without permanently damaging my door? What usually causes this type of problem? Thanks.

I have the opposite problem, my drivers side door is stuck in the up position. Not bad, but all the other power windows work.

I have the added bonus on currently being on crutches, so working on the vehicle is not an easy option.
