2006 Caravan Power side door

Left power sliding door look doesn't work. All other OK. Door will not open with overhead or remote switch when locked. Looks like a wire in the door cable may be broken. I see how to disconnect the door end of the cable, but how do I get at the end that is inside the flexible cable?
