2005 driver side power window does not work

How do I fix the dirver side power window? It does not work.

I bought a new 4-switch panel, hoping it was just the faulty switch. No such luck - the other 3 work, but the driver's side remains faulty. I understand from the dealer that it is likely a window motor, which they say is very costly to repair. Any suggestions out there would be appreciated.
