Dodge-Grand Caravan - 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Lights Flashing - Diagnostic?

I have an '02 Grand Caravan. This morning after dropping the kids at school, I turned the engine off and saw that the headlights/brake lights and turn signal lights were alternately lighting up. Half an hour later, they're still doing it. Nothing on my dash lights up indicating a problem, so I'm stumped. Is this a diagnostic thing? Is my van possessed? Any help is gratefully accepted.

I also have the same problem. Could you please help me. I have already spent over 400.00$ trying to rectify the problem and still have not rectify the dam problem. Did you get any answers, and if so please let help me know. I am to go back to the garage tomorrow morning. This will be my fourth time bringing it to the garage.

Weird; I just started having this problem today, October 19 '09, with our 2001 Grand Caravan Sport. I suspect it may be an alert related to the impact sensor in the rear bumper... I was loading up an old dishwasher to haul away this morning when I accidentally backed into a stone wall very slowly, but enough to indent the bumper. Funny thing is that it didn't start right away. I first noticed it about a couple hours later after driving about 15 miles; the lights were doing this alternation very dimly in the parking lot. As I drove home, it must have become stronger, because I could see it reflected in the bumper of a car ahead of me at a stop light. (It is daylight.) No difference if lights are on or off. I've disconnected the negative battery terminal for a while and we'll see what happens. I don't think I could drive the car at night this way, for sure!

I have at least temporarily been able to make this stop by disconnecting the battery (negative terminal), waiting about 15-20 minutes, and reconnecting it. Haven't really driven yet; just moved to the other side of the driveway and tested exterior lights (all okay).
