1988 Dodge Dynasty Odometer Problem

The odometer has stopped. It stopped one other time and started up again on its own.

The speedometer works fine.

I assume the odometer is electronicaly fed. Is it separate from the speedometer feed? If so where might there be a failure? If there is a single feed then I assume I have a problem in the instument cluster.

I have been into the instrument cluster and body computer for different reasons so know how to get at them.
