no sound with headset DVD rear entertainment system

Can someone help with a no sound?

2005 Dodge Durango

The rear passenger dvd entertainment system works fine with autos sound system. However, when I plug in a head set I can't get any sound. Am I missing something?

I do not know how to use my dvd player in our Durango, we bought the car through a used car dealer and the manual was not in the car.

Would you be able to mail us a car manual? Or tells where to write for one.

I purchased our 2004 Dodge Durango used and we finally found the headphones and remote for the rear video entertainment system (VES) and without the manual I can not figure out how to use the remote or if it is the right one, can anyone help with this. Thanks

I just bought a Dodge Drango that does not have a maunal. I can not get the sound to come out for the dvd player. We've tryed the radio and still nothing. Please email me back if you can help. Thanks
